I’ve worked in community arts for over 15 years, in Scotland and internationally.
I currently offer the following regular sessions alongside one-off workshops:
Kids Art Club @ Birnam Arts
Kids Art Club offers child-led creative exploration, using a mix of media (with an ethos of reusing/recycling) and draws inspiration from the wider BA programme. This club is suitable for ages 5-12yrs (P1-P7) but it is more tailored to kids aged between 5 and 9. If you are unsure and would like to give the club a go please let us know.
The current block runs from Thursday 23rd April until Thursday 25th June 2025 ((CURREFULLY BOOKED) – 10 weeks (inclusive).

Weekly handbuilding @Birnam Arts
I lead weekly sessions exploring hand-building techniques to build our own clay vessels before having the opportunity to learn different surface-design techniques. All work is fired at the arts centre for collection
The sessions run from 10.30 – 12.30pm.
The cost per session is £20-40 on a sliding scale (only a small number of tickets at the lowest rate are available) + cost of materials/firing (this will be recorded at the session and charged at the end of your attendance).
The venue is Birnam Arts
* I take payment on a weekly basis. I live with a chronic health condition which means I can’t always manage the things I would like to. I’ll endeavour to go ahead with a session wherever possible and if I can’t I will communicate with participants to reschedule, and only where completely necessary, cancel. I appreciate your commitment to the full block where possible and a commitment to paying for the sessions as promptly as possible. Sessions which are cancelled will be refunded.
